Children's Hospital Berlin-Weißensee

The dramatically high child mortality rate at the time prompted the opening of the Weißensee Children's Hospital in 1911. The hospital was constantly expanding. In 1997 the operation was stopped, in the meantime the listed, three-story building has mutated into a dilapidated ruin. The building was sold to an investor who went bankrupt a few years ago. Now the Senate is suing the insolvency administrator for return. Of course, every urban explorer is tempted to take a look inside the building. However, I advise against climbing through one of the fences, as the orphaned building is in a desolate state and has burned in it several times.
